Nick Murray is a current Sheriff's Deputy and law enforcement firearms instructor. He is a certified NRA Pistol Instructor and SLED Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor. He specializes in South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit instruction and 1-on-1 firearms training. He believes all Americans should exercise their 2nd Amendment rights to legally protect themselves. He was born and raised in Indiana and has been in law enforcement since 1995, where he started and ran the child safety program for the county. He moved to South Carolina when he met his wife. He has always believed in public service and giving back to the community.

Nick met his wife, Shannon, a school teacher in Sumter County and they have a teenage daughter and son. They enjoy traveling and are involved with high school and competitive sports including cheerleading and martial arts. To protect the family is why training is important.

Our goal is to provide SLED required training to help you understand the need and the responsibilities that come with carrying a firearm for a self defense tool. Are you looking for One on One training? Do you want to feel more comfortable with your firearm? We offer Personal Training at $85.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) and requires 300 rounds of ammunition.
This is an introduction to the AR-15 rifle. This informative 2 hour class will cover parts identification, accessorizing, cleaning and general functions of the rifle. The course is $135.00.
Have you gotten your pistol and want to learn the basics - how to use, how to clean and how to maintain for proper working order? This one hour course will teach you the basics and walk you through cleaning and maintaining your firearm. It requires YOUR firearm and at least 20-25 rounds of ammunition. The course cost is $25.
Does your church or organization want to train a group safety team? In times like now, all organizations are looking to make sure their buildings and people are safe. This class includes an instructional portion as well as an evaluation of your facility with outlines of objectives specific to your conditions and location. With the completion of this course, SC Concealed Weapons Permit training and personal firearms training will be offered at a discounted rate. There is a minimum of 6-8 people needed to complete this course.
